Bible Study
Holy Scripture, the very Word of God, forms the very foundation of the life of faith. As Roman Catholics the Bible stands in tandem with the Tradition of the Church in helping all members to know and love the God who has made us, whom we worship and who we are to serve with our whole lives. Through a determined and consistent reading of the Scriptures and subsequent study of how the Word of God is to enter into our daily life, the whole of life becomes richer. Bible Study at St. Barnabas is an ongoing effort to this end.
Meeting on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 in the Parish Center Library, participants begin in prayer, and then read and discuss a portion of the Scriptures. Through a systematic presentation of passages, all who participate will eventually read the whole Bible.
