Parish Auditors & Trustees

Parish Auditors & Trustees

In conformance with Diocesan requirements, two Trustees and two Auditors serve St. Barnabas Parish.  The trustees are lay persons who are adult members of the Parish, active in Parish life, and in good standing.  Trustees are nominated by the Pastor and appointed by the Bishop.  The trustees along with the Pastor approve the annual budget for the Parish and are required to vote on any transaction involving the transfer of the corporation (the Parish) assets.

Two additional parishioners, active in Parish life and in good standing, are chosen by the Pastor and approved by the Bishop and Vicar General to act as auditors for the Parish.  Auditors must be skilled in business affairs and accounting and are responsible to examine and approve the annual Financial Report.
